The ‘Play Something’ feature that was previously announced on Netflix will eventually live for everyone around the world, even though you have to have a TV connected to use it for now. This feature is basically the Shuffle button for Netflix, which chooses a show or film that you haven’t watched based on your past watching habits.

The game feature of something is a tool for Netflix customers who want to watch something but cannot decide which show or film will begin. This feature uses the Netflix algorithm to determine which content you might be interested in based on what you have watched or saved.

This feature is now available on smart TV globally; Netflix plans to immediately bring it to an Android device, but it is not clear when it will arrive at the Apple mobile device. According to varieties, the company does not plan to play something available in the desktop browser interface.

This tool recognizes that you might not like the playing content, allowing users to choose the ‘Play Something Something’ button to switch to the next movie or TV series. This, in a way similar to flipping channels on traditional fixed paid TV services, although with the benefits of algorithms that try to find what you will like.

You can be taken to films or TV shows that you started watching in the past but never finished. It is also possible that you will get a title that was previously saved to the account monitoring list or something you have not saved or started watching.
